The tenor Robert Bartneck, born in Hanover, is characterized by his versatility. In addition to his wide-ranging song and concert activities, he is equally at home in the light lyrical repertoire of opera as he is in the buffo repertoire, where he also impresses with his acting qualities.

In March 2024 Robert Bartneck will appear at the Volksoper Wien as Raoul de St. Brioche in a new production of “The Merry Widow” staged by Mariame Clément.

He can also be heard as a tenor soloist in Handel's “Messiah” in the Konzerthaus Klagenfurt and as evangelist in Bach's “Saint John Passion” in the concert hall of the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest.
